Okay girls.

First of all, I love every single one of you, and I'm going to ask to get my blood sugar tested next Monday.

Secondly, I have spent ALL afternoon/evening trying to develop a sample meal plan, and of course I am NINE fats short. Everything else is easy except those fats. I need ideas!

  2. Hey lovebug! I'm so happy you're going to get tested - it's really not that bad having it. If you have any questions you know where to find me :)

Hm extra fats - nut butters, avocados, larabara, olive oil, plain nuts/seeds...hope that helps?

  3. Hey I am a few ideas for you. Don't you find it a lot easier, and less stressful when you are counting categories of food rather than just calories? BTW my EDU called them satieties so it wouldn't sound so scary :)

Avocados, hummus, tofu, almonds, almond butter, peanut butter, sunflower seeds, coconut, oils, tempeh, dressing, different yogurts like FAGE 2%, soymilk, oh! edamame beans (those are great you get 2 servings of protein and one satiety in one shot)! That's all I can think of right now. Hope this helps, and stay strong!

  9. Be careful not to cut yourself short though if you do nuts, You will need a FULL handful to get in 1 or 2 fats!

  11. Perhaps you should ask for a test for hypoglycemia? Your symptoms sound exactly the same as what I get quite often and I'm getting tested soon.
Hope you feel better soon hun :( xxx

  12. i love you to sweetie :)

yes! i am so glad you made an appointment! it will be very reassuring to know whats really going on and how to fix this.

as for fats! i use to fear fats (so so much) but once i got into it i found fats to be easier than protein! they are really vital for your organs and skin so i call them ''healthy fats'' instead.

nut butters - use twice as much!
    hummus - veggies or sandwich
    olives
sour cream - tacos, baked potato (with cheese!)
cream cheese - bagel, toast, muffin, etc
butter or soy margarine (earth balance is a must for me!) on a grilled sandwich
olive oil - use to cook in! or drizzle over steamed/roasted veggies
granola (a grain + a fat!) on full fat yogurt
avocado or guacamole on a sandwich/wrap
    mayonnaise on a sandwich/wrap/chickpea salad
salad dressing on a salad or with veggies (if you you light then you would have to eat twice as much for 1 fat)
real whipped cream on your dessert

i know these are repetitive (im going off of my nutrition booklet!)

    enjoy your friday! <3
